The Withering Plant

The plant that was taken care of indoors where it was watered and fed.

Placed outdoors in error, silently swaying in the wind.

We want you to bloom like us, the blossoming plants dictate.

You have to change, assimulate, we all must be the same.

The rain pelts the plant, the sun dries its leaves, despite this, the plant begins to bloom. and the blossoming plants are pleased.

Internally the plant is hurt, exhausted and confused. The outside elements, have wreaked havoc with its soul.

The plant begins to wither , as its true identity fades, the dispirited house plant with no flowers on display
